Introducing Cura Vita, Senior Team

Luke Brewin, CEO Complex Care Group

My name is Luke Brewin I am the CEO of Cura Vita Complex Care Group, after my sports career was stopped short through injury I moved into the healthcare sector around 16 years ago.

I have worked for some of the largest healthcare recruitment companies in the UK and worked from non-clinical candidates to clinical directors. After moving into complex care and supportive living I have never looked back.

My passion for supported living stems from a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals who need assistance due to physical, mental, or emotional challenges.

Seeing the positive impact that giving people their independence but at the same time support can have on someone’s life is incredibly rewarding. It provides a sense of purpose and fulfilment, knowing that you are contributing to someone’s well-being and quality of life.

What is Supported Living?

Supported living allows you to live independently and have control over how and when you receive support. We can support you to achieve your goals, such as becoming an active member of your local community.

Our flexible support is tailored to your needs, whether you are looking for a few hours a week or more. Together, we co-create personalised support plans focusing on your interests, priorities, and skills.

Whatever your needs are, we are here to help. The type of support you receive is controlled by you. From help with personal care needs and managing finances, to finding education, work, or leisure activities – your choice, your decision

You could choose to live independently in your own flat with as much or as little support as you need. This could be in one of our established properties, or we can work with you and our housing partners to source a property that meets your needs.

We can help connect you to other people who might want to live independently too but are not yet ready to live alone. You will have your own space but benefit from socialising with other like-minded people, sharing the communal spaces and sharing the costs of household bills.

You may be looking for the best of both worlds. Your own modern apartment with some shared communal space so you can choose when and if you want to socialise. We have worked with our housing partners to develop this popular type of accommodation. You will benefit from floating support skilled staff to take care of your needs or just someone to talk to, to keep you safe we will provide concierge service onsite so that it is secure and protect your health and wellbeing.

This provides stability whilst you are between long-term support solutions. This type of support will help you plan for your future in a structured way. We will support you with the skills you may need to help you live more independently and, when you are ready, support you to achieve a fully independent lifestyle.
