We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and flexible Support Worker to join our dedicated care team in Enfield. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily routines, promoting independence, dignity, and a high quality of life.
Your work may take place in supported living environments or private homes, where you will empower individuals to engage with their community, develop life skills, and feel valued every day.
Main role responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Support clients with daily walks and community outings
- Provide emotional support and meaningful companionship
- Administer medication safely and monitor wellbeing
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Implement and follow behavioural support plans where needed
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment
- Drive clients to appointments and activities (essential)
- Keep accurate records and escalate concerns to healthcare professionals
Your skill & requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in supported living or a similar care setting
- Good understanding of Autism, ADHD, and managing challenging behaviours
- Confident in implementing positive behaviour support strategies
- PMVA Training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid UK driving licence – essential for transporting clients
